Currently, a template can only be used as default by manually choosing it via "New Project > Select Template". There's no quick way to promote a template to be the new default.

Add an option in the template browser to set any template as the default ("Default of the defaults") with one click.

Saves time, reduces clicks, and makes it easier to start with your preferred setup – especially for users relying on customized defaults.
