Keyboard/Pads would appear as a MIDI source in mixer, and can be assigned arbitrary destinations just like any other MIDI source. Can appear in window or docked on canvas like a widget.

I like the built-in keyboard in the 2.0 beta. It would be sweet if this expanded to be able to change it to a 16-pad control surface for finger drumming AUv3s. Keyboard improvements could also include ability to slide up/down for aftertouch effects like the keyboard in Animoog. Also a sweet addition would be to lock the keyboard to scales, etc.
