"Multi-Tap Mode" for Sequential Clip Actions (Clear, Gain, Pan, etc.)

Currently, it’s possible to create a button that clears the next tapped clip – a great space-saving feature for the canvas.
The idea is to expand this functionality into
a "Multi-Tap Mode"
, where a single button enters a temporary state that allows the user to tap multiple clips one after another to apply a defined action (e.g. clear, adjust gain, pan). Tapping the button again exits the mode.Goals & Benefits:
- Fast, focused editing of multiple clips in sequence
- Minimizes the number of widgets needed on the canvas
- Greatly improves live performance workflows
- Opens up a wide range of creative and practical use cases
Example Use Cases:
- Clear Mode: Tap multiple clips to clear them
- Gain Mode: Tap clips to set them to –2 dB
- Pan Mode: Tap clips to pan them 10% to the left
- Reverse Mode: Tap clips to reverse playback
- Mute Mode: Temporarily mute clips by tapping
