Currently, it’s possible to create a button that clears the next tapped clip – a great space-saving feature for the canvas.
The idea is to expand this functionality into
a "Multi-Tap Mode"
, where a single button enters a temporary state that allows the user to tap multiple clips one after another to apply a defined action (e.g. clear, adjust gain, pan). Tapping the button again exits the mode.
Goals & Benefits:
  • Fast, focused editing of multiple clips in sequence
  • Minimizes the number of widgets needed on the canvas
  • Greatly improves live performance workflows
  • Opens up a wide range of creative and practical use cases
Example Use Cases:
  • Clear Mode: Tap multiple clips to clear them
  • Gain Mode: Tap clips to set them to –2 dB
  • Pan Mode: Tap clips to pan them 10% to the left
  • Reverse Mode: Tap clips to reverse playback
  • Mute Mode: Temporarily mute clips by tapping
