It’s nice to drag and use just the part you like in a clip, but for me it feels like a waste to keep other recorded info hanging around. Is there a way to just keep the part you like and delete the rest? I end up feeling sloppy.
I like to set the recorder to infinite and stop when I catch the right groove. This leaves a lot of info in my clips I don’t use.
Idea:
  • adding cropping to the midi editing window based on where you put the ruler.
  • post crop, auto-selects the part for dragging around.
  • also from sequencing in horizontal mode as a drop down option
For audio as well if possible.
