Hi there wouldn’t it be great to have the length option for any clip to mirror the length of another? Like recording something on one clip would set the length of those clips waiting for a length information from that clip that just stopped recording? A selection menu underneath the clip length would be the ideal solution for me.

For sure. Clicking through a round (or a droplist) of subtle (inner donut) icons in the centre of the donut that signified (and locked in place): same length ①; double length '1/2'; quarter length '1/4'; etc. Plus markings on that inner donut icon for core clip setting characteristics: pad rest of loop; Intro; tail inside; tail at end ...
