Borders Around Plugins to Show ENABLE /DISABLE
under review

Hi,
My request is an easier way to tell, looking a channel at a glance, at all of the plugin incons, which plugins are enabled or disabled.
I mocked up a picture showing red and green "glows" around them. Maybe that's too much. MAYBE just a glow around any disabled plugin icons.
After loading I often switch plugins on or off, and looking at the channel with all the plugin ICONS you can't tell.
Thanks!!

Perhaps a red fill behind or beside disabled plugins to mirror the channel mute indicators. Then a solid red fill would be universally seen as "mute" or "bypass" or simply "off", since as far as output goes, these are all essentially the same.

Personally, I would like to see a greater difference between the "activated" state and the "deactivated" state, in which "non-activated" plugins are displayed a little more transparently. A thicker white border could also be used for "activated" plugins. However, I don't like the look of different colors as suggested here and in my opinion it is too distracting or makes you feel confused.

ultracello: Yes, whatever can best visually differentiate, at a glance, those that are active or not. It's not about a certain color. The plugin icons are rather small (I have a 12.9 inch screen): anything that make clear at a glance what's inactive would really be helpful.
