Add linear acceleration curve for knobs/fader widgets and mixer fader AND allow jumping to values / logarithmic behavior

There seems to be a non-linear acceleration curve for fader and encoder widgets which causes a slower/faster changes depending on movement and how much open/close the fader or encoder knob is.
This concept works great for a mouse or a gamepad but it's not so great for touch control.
This makes using the midi widgets for controlling values very unpredictable and unprecise imo.
I like to suggest to add a linear curve as a property for these widgets with fixed speed options (low, med, fast).
This is how MIDI Designer 2 does it which is simply the most accurate and versatile for touch control on iOS (still not the prettiest looking unfortunately 😂).
Also I like to see the encoders to be fully 360 circular instead of just pan style.
This would also make the range bigger and therefor even more precise with a linear curve.
Thank you!

This was fixed a few versions ago, if I understand correctly

option to change mixer level sliders to logarithmic
ultracello
seems to me that a very small movement in one of the mixer volume sliders produces a disproportionately large decrease in audible level. Are these linear when they would be better logarithmic? Maybe people like it like this but an option to chose between linear & log would be ace.

slide options for knob widgets, acceleration on/off, double-taps for default values, jump to higher/lower values
ultracello
choose between slide options for knob widgets:
- slide up/down (standard) or slide left/right or turn finger clockwise/anti-clockwise
add function to jump to a higher/lower value by tapping at certain position:
- you can set this on/off per fader/knob
add function fort double-taps on fader/knobs widgets to:
- default default AUv3 parameter value (plugin default) reset
- reset to default AUv3 parameter value (current preset default) reset
- reset to a specific parameter value (you can enter a specific value)
acceleration for fader/knob widgets, mixer vol/pan:
- once implemented you can turn this on/off
It would be cool if you could turn this on and off instantly on demand using another action or shift button.
And really good would be: for instance following example: use
two fingers
for jumps
AND use one finger
for fades
. So yes, in total two modes on one widget, sweet!ultracello

With this feature no longer TouchOSC is needed for my project.

This please...... ✌️

Faders would be much more usable as a result.

Yeah, this is a very good idea. But please let users allow to activate / deactivate this PER fader / knob individually. Because some nowadays MIDI controllers have this feature already inbuilt – like the cool MIDI controllers from from Intech Studio. And maybe you want to have more precise dialing for this and this knob but for this and this knob you want have a more rough or even more precise dialing. Fully flexibility!

Please add the same for fader widgets.
