Also items of list widgets (stepped dials & radio buttons) should be able to be reordered via drag and drop. Currently the actions within them can be reordered and dragged from one item to another, but the actual steps of a dial or buttons of a radio grid can’t be reordered. This makes it very time consuming if you need to add a step or button if it belongs anywhere other than at the end

100%. All entries should be able to be dragged and re-sorted.

Michael Tyson: It is not fully complete. For MIDI bindings (and also for AUv3 plugin presets) it is not available.

Addition for the upcoming
Keyboard Commands / Shortcuts
feature, both for macOS and iPad/iOS Loopy Pro version:- please go immediately to the search field text line with blinking cursor. For an ultra-fast workflow for us keyboard types who don't always want to manually click the search box text line. Thanks a lot for this!

I use my bluetooth CME Xkey Air as a MIDI binding device and it’s perfect for that purpose. I only wish we could sort them chromatically after finishing the profile for a nice overview.

Merged in a post:
UNDO / REDO in MIDI bindings + DEL button + REORDER
ultracello
Several things:
#1 DEL button for controller category
Let's say you transferred (copy) MIDI bindings from one controller to another one but you made a mistake: you did copy all bindings from one controller to the wrong one. If this is the case, then there should be also a right swipe be available which shows up the delete button for the controller hardware.
(At the moment it's a "hassle" to delete all new MIDI bindings in case you made a mistake (copying to the wrong controller or to a controller which already has the same or similar bindings).
#2 BUG: controller label won't disappear when delete all bindings of a specific controller
And btw there is a bug: when delete manually all bindings (from the mistake you did have done said above) the hardware label won't disappear! It's not super critical and delivers no app crash but this just looks strange. See this video: https://youtu.be/GvZjE2lXens
#3 UNDO button and REDO button in MIDI bindings
But let's say you did that mistake told above (copy bindings to the wrong controller). It would be helpful to have in the MIDI bindings window an undo button and a redo button which affects only your MIDI binding transfers you did and all added MIDI bindings.
#4 you can REORDER following:
- Global Profiles
- Current Project Settings
- MIDI bindings
- in Control Settings: hardware category
(in general I think entries in lists should have DEL and REORDER buttons)
Gold for a smooth workflow would be: you can select entries and then appears:
- reorder
- move (to other hardware category)
- copy (to other hardware category)
- del
