tbh the current waveform layout looks like a toy (no front!). Can we just have at least an option to show it raw and pure like it works in other DAWs. The current waveform layout tbh does not allow often to see at first sight WHAT exactly you have been recorded. The waveforms are simply displayed too vaguely. Why waveforms are shown as stripe-set? Maybe it's also a matter of taste but tbh I don't like this design since day 1 using LP.

And please allow to disable the amplitude animation of running clips to avoid motion sickness.
